Is the value of money related to poverty?

67 comments:

  1. In my opinion yes, the World Bank defines extreme poverty as living on less than US $1.25 (PPP) per day. Using a Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) basis is very useful in comparing differences in living standards on the whole between people because PPP takes into account the relative cost of living of a person. It’s simple: Money is a good with a limited supply and there is a demand for it because people want it but it is hard to get. The reason I want money is because I know other people want money, so I can use my money to others to get goods and services from them (that we need) in return. They can then use that money to purchase goods and services that they want. Poverty exist because we people sometimes lack money and value of money changes overtime. It is define by PPP as stated before.

  2. YES...money may be interrelated to poverty and No because of some reasons.

Money is no more than an object.
Money is assigned value by AGREEMENTS that people make to value the money-object in a certain way.
If I agree that one peso equals one peso and twenty-five cents and everyone agrees, then I can take a certain kind of peso to the bank and cash it in to receive one peso and twenty-five cents.
I can still do this if I am poor and I find a peso in the street, turn to the bank for cashing the peso in at P1.25 value.

But, either way money may also affect us greatly in our economic and social status as Filipinos because we are ranked according to the amount of money that we have....from poor, average and rich which means there is really descrimination because the poor becomes poorer and the rich becomes richer and that isn't a good thing happening around us..

We must always remember that money is the root of all evil and that there is a competition between every people around the globe which may greatly affect us all and may cause too much harm in our pocketsw , resulting to poverty.

  3. In my opinion, I think the issue of poverty is not related to money. It is not related because, there are so many factors that affects poverty. One is the social problem, like the very low income of every family because there is no great oppurtunity or a nice work that give them income that can support their family. Also, our government give poverty issue less action than any other problems that we have. Another factor is that we are dependent to contributions that any organizations can give. We depend so much that some of us are not looking for work and always waiting to give them food or something that they need. I think this is the issue why we are poor, we need self descipline to overcome this problem.

We find money everywhere, the problem is that what can we do or how can we rise from poverty. Money is not always an issue why we are poor. We have so many resources around us that can help us rise from poverty if we only know how to use and preserves it.

  4. "We have grown literally afraid to be poor. We despise anyone who elects to be poor in order to simplify and save his inner life. If he does not join the general scramble and pant with the money-making street, we deem him spiritless and lacking in ambition. ~William James"

For me, it is yes.. Money can be used sometimes as a measure of wealth, a means to store wealth, and a useful set of symbols for the exchange of wealth. But money is not wealth, and the nature of poverty is far more interesting and challenging than just the absence of money.

Any of us who have been short of cash feel that we know what poverty is. But the experience of individual poverty, which is alleviated by getting some money which a problem of the whole economy - the whole society. The social problem of poverty is lack of wealth, not lack of money. For low-income persons, poverty is also a result of how wealth is distributed through the society. The answer to fighting poverty, the social problem, then, is to create or generate wealth.

Poverty, like wealth, comes in several varieties related to ownership. The lack of communal human settlement facilities and services belongs to public or group ownership. These include lack of access to health facilities and educational facilities, lack of infrastructure such as roads, market places, electricity or telephone, and lack of other communal infrastructure such as sanitation, potable water and a dependable food supply. These forms of communal wealth differ from personal ownership, where poverty is manifested in low or no wages, lack of land and other property, lack of privately owned capital , and lack of human skills.

  5. The value of money is considered to be interrelated to poverty.
Like most people I grew up with mixed associations about money. In some ways money was a good thing; in other ways it was a necessary evil or a distraction from what was really important.
The value of money that we have may greatly affects our economic and social status. The fact is that money is needed for us to acquire our needs or what we want. Some problems can be solved by money very easily.
In relation to poverty, the value of money determine the living standards of the people.Money is needed to purchase goods and services thats why most of us wants it to have but the fact is it is hard to get especialy if the value of it is low and the income of the people is considered to be not enough to satisfied or meet their needs.

  6. Is the value of money related to poverty? Yes. By Philippine definition, poverty incidence in our country is the proportion of families whose income cannot provide for the basic food and non-food requirements. Therefore the value of money would be an indication of a person's ability to afford his basic needs for food, shelter and clothing.

But poverty encompasses more than just these needs. If you simply ask an ordinary person in the street.. Poverty is hunger. Poverty is lack of shelter. Poverty is being sick and not being able to see a doctor. Poverty is not knowing how to read. Poverty is not having a job.

Our government tells us we had economic growth but in fact poverty has not been addressed. A person might have income that generates money but still feel deprived because of lack of adequate education and health care. Therefore, poverty must be addressed in all aspects and not simply on the value of money

  7. NO,Many people when they hear or read the word poverty will automatically think of poverty as bieng simply lack of money. This is partly true as my dad said to me,but for a better understanding of poverty it is necessary to go beyond this simple, or commonsense, definition of poverty.
poverty is much more than a simple lack of money. For example, if you were stranded on a desert island and you had 10million peso in cash, while those around you had things such as food, shelter and clothing who would be in poverty?you could not eat your money, nor could you go to the local grocery store to buy some food.
In such a situation a lack of money need not equal poverty.this is, however, only part of the story regard to poverty yet in order to understand poverty, and inequality. we must probe beneath surface reality and go beyond the commonsense explanation which is simply another word for cliche.^^,

  8. YES,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
because the lower the value of money the fewer the basic commodities you can buy thus results to hunger which denotes to poverty. No matter how much money a person may have, if the prices of commodity are very high, still the amount of money that he has may not be enough to buy his needs. And the lower the value of money the fewer the job opportunities because componies will likely limit their workers thus create jobless people which relates to poverty.

  9. Poverty refers to the condition of not having the means to afford basic human needs such as clean water, nutrition, health care, clothing and shelter. This is also referred to as absolute poverty or destitution. Relative poverty is the condition of having fewer resources or less income than others within a society or country, or compared to worldwide averages.

So, when the value of money is low. Most of the job opportunities gonna have a low income and making workers cannot afford their basics needs. and forcing them to buy low quality items and consumables. consumables that has low nutritional content making children malnourished.

So... yes, the value of money is related to poverty...

  10. in answering this question let us first define what is poverty.

poverty - state of not having enough money to take care of basic needs such as food, clothing and shelter.

    my answer is yes...
the value of money will always be a great factor in determining whether a person is in the state of poverty or not.

it is because poverty arises when the value of money isn't enough to comply with the basic needs of every individual.

a person may have a big amount of cash in hand but if the prices of the product are expensive, that amount would still be insufficient. it is not the amount of money that is taken into consideration here but what that sum of money could afford. even if the sum is large, as long as its value is low, you will never be able to buy the things that you need which results to what we call the state of POVERTY.

therefore, i can say that the value of money is related to poverty.

  11. The value of money is related to poverty.

Money is a measure of wealth, lack of cash can be a measure of lack of wealth.

Poverty is one of the indicators of the value of money. We can easily know the value of money of a certain nation if we know if that nation is rich or poor.

For example some people consider themselves poor. It may be because the prices of commodities are too high for them. One may say that the purchasing power of the money is too high or too low and by that we can determine the value of the money.

  12. For me,YES!
because, money is the root of everything we want and need.
    ............BUT!
We can overcome poverty if we have determination to improve our status in the society. thus, many people are lazy and irresponsible.
    ............
Thier is no problem if what is the cost of money. The problem is the gots of you to work to find money. Money is just a work to surpass povertyness.
    ............
For me the cost of poverty is the thinking of discremination.
If you are poor you should start for your self or in your family. Start within your children find a work to send them in school. Think of everything that can make your childrens future grows.
    ............
Money is a truth that can cause poverty but, you have the sense to choose if you want to make your life simple, simple that every morning you wake up and just open your refregirator and drink a cold milk, and as simple that sitting on your own car and travel to your destination.
Thier is no harm to try to make your life easy. Just build in your self the determination to win a such kind of povertyness....,,

  13. ahhhmmm... in my own opinion. poverty is just a situation where an individual or person is in a financial trouble, or totally cannot afford for something. as far as i know, if the exchange rate of dollar to peso is decreasing, it means that our economy is good. so i think it is really not related to poverty. the goods and services makes things complicated because of the price.

    ReplyDelete
  14. i believe that the value of money is related to poverty crisis. having low value of money results to inadequate employment opportunities, low income, less money for education and lack of basic neccesities each individual must manifest. these then results to big chances of experiencing poverty and increases social problems.

The value of money is related to it because of the purchasing power of money is low, then people doesn't have the capability to buy their wants, even their needs. Then this would result to poverty.

because the government has always taken value for money seriously. But it is now more critical than ever that we do every thing we can to ensure that we honour our commitments to scrutinise spending decisions and ensure effectiveness. And money can satisfy our needs and we can solve our poverty. We can buy our daily needs because of money. And now a days money is the one of the important things in this world, because we can buy what we want, but not all things like life, love ang good health....

  18. yes, indeed they're much related to each other..

money causes everything now in real life.. we are more stable and happier in life if we born in wealthy living or if we have good jobs that pays well.. but since we live in reality world (like right now)the "money" is all about surviving our life on how we live in our daily lives.. and that's equal to poverty neither good or bad it's causes everything..

    ReplyDelete
  19. We may say that there is "NO" effect of the value of money to poverty. but for me, there is. how can we work if the value of money is getting higher and our salary will still be the same? There are many reasons the poor work fewer hours than the avereage people, including difficulty in finding jobs, the demands of caring for young children, poor health, transportation problems, substance abuse, and other personal problems. Although a shortage of job opportunities is often cited as an important reason for the poor's lack of involvement in the work force, the gap in the work hours of poor and nonpoor families with children is observed in good years as well as bad. The state of the economy and the availability of jobs surely play some role, but are not the primary reasons for these differences in work effort. In short, the poor have less income in large measure because they work far fewer hours than their more affluent counterparts.
Eventhou we are still students and do not have that experience we are also part of the economy.
If we don't knw how to save our money, time will come that all of us may lead to poverty.

  20. Your life, or your Money?
    You decide!

We have all felt a shortage of cash at times. That is an individual experience. It is not the same as the social problem of poverty. While money is a measure of wealth, lack of cash can be a measure of lack of wealth, but it is not the social problem of poverty.

However, the lack of money is more a symptom of poverty rather than its cause. In most cases the poor are not without an income, what they lack is the ability to accumulate assets, which is a key ingredient to the creation of wealth and breaking the cycle of poverty.

Money has a great effect in a nation's economic development perhaps this totally covers a person's life in the future someday.

As what Mr. Angelias says, the value of money is related to it because of the purchasing power of money is low, then people doesn't have the capability to buy their wants, even their needs. Then this would result to poverty. He has a point and perhaps concludes that money and poverty are obviously related.

  21. Commodities consumed by any individual was payed by money whatever its status in life. What you can afford to gain in everyday living depend how much money you have. It means the bigger money, the more you gain. But in reality its value was counted to measure the essence of money. Thus, I can say that, eventually money's value affect or related to poverty. To cite some reasons;first, even how great is your job and you received big amount of money but then its value is very low, yet at the end it will lead to unsatisfying result.Second, since that people are dependent to infastractures provided by the government, the continous chain of livelihood were affected due to unfinished projects because of lack of materials caused by unstoppable increase of raw materials we import (aside from the prevailing truth about corruption). We pay bigger amount of money but with unequalled value. Generally, the services in any form, were affected by the value of money especially to those unfortuate people whom these services offered which became a material to poverty.
Furthermore, in a very simple context, the relation of money's value to poverty could be explicit this way; you go to the market with P1000 and yet you go home with a very few groceries compared to old times that the value of money were very significant. This situation is a huge factor that could result to poverty especially in the Philippine settings in terms of family life style or living.

YES, because we all need money for our daily expenses. How can I afford to go to a private school without money and have not enough money. We are all die for hunger if we don't have money. Some people think bad things to feed their families, an OFW sacrifice and take a risk in other countries to give their families a wealthy life. So, money is very important to us and we should spend it wisely.

  25. In my opinion no, because people are the reason why poverty exist, money was just an instrument used by human beings. Cause people are selfish, distrusting and non-mindful. In short, people don't care that others are in poverty as long as they themselves are being looked after.

  28. POVERTY as what I defined is an insufficiency to sustain basic needs or lack of money or material means....

I think the value of money and poverty comes hand and hand... the higher the value of money the greater needs you will be able to afford while on the other hand lack of money will result to [hunger] that surely will result to POVERTY...

In addition, recent studies shows that one of the [many] factors that contributes to POVERTY is the lack of money to sustain basic needs of every human person... here in our society today, a lot of FILIPINOS are experiencing POVERTY and that is because of the higher prices of the products that they cannot afford since greater amount of money is needed in order to buy their everyday needs...

BUT! it is not that money is everything.... surely people can survive even if they lack of money.. if everyone of us will be responsible enough surely will live...not so grandeur but simple life.....

yes, the value of money is related to poverty.
As the word poverty means "lack of money to buy the basic needs". So even if you have money but the value of your money is very low you still can't afford to buy the basic goods for your family. Thus, poverty is dependent to the value of money. If the value of money is low then number of people that are below poverty line increases.

In my own understanding about this kind of situation, i can say that the value of money is related to poverty but not in all situation..
In some country such as Japan, the value of their money is low in fact our Philipine peso has a high value compared to the Japanese yen but still the life of the people living in Japan is much stable compared in our country. The reason is that they keep on patronizing their own products. They buy products that is made in their own country so the prize of the products is just good that the customers can afford to buy for their needs...
In our country is a very different situation, the value of money greatly affects the status of living of every citizen . why? because most of the products comes from other countries. The prize of that product is high because of the high value of their money so this result to the increase in prize when it is sold here in the Philippines and the people cannot afford to buy this products which is important to their needs. This result to poverty ...

The value of money is related to POVERTY if you think that it is..

  33. poverty define as lack or insufficient amount basic commodities like foods, shelters, and clothes.

In a world of plenty, a huge number go hungry. Hunger is more than just the result of food production and meeting demands. The causes of hunger are related to the causes of poverty. One of the major causes of hunger is poverty itself.Poverty as a social problem is a deeply embedded wound that permeates every dimension of culture and society. It includes sustained low levels of income for members of a community. It includes a lack of access to services like education, markets, health care, lack of decision making ability, and lack of communal facilities like water, sanitation, roads, transportation, and communications. Furthermore, it is a "poverty of spirit," that allows members of that community to believe in and share despair, hopelessness, apathy, and timidity. Poverty, especially the factors that contribute to it, is a social problem, and its solution is social.

We must always remember that money is the root of all evil and that there is a competition between every people around the globe which may greatly affect us all and may cause too much harm in our pocketsw , resulting to poverty.

    For me,yes it is related.
poverty means not having to afford something like basic needs.
    money means medium of exchange.
From the meaning of both word said it all, especially if you relate it to now a days, money matter may lead to poverty.Having money you can afford to buy you basic needs and even your wants while if you are experiencing poverty there is a big possibility that you can't afford even your basic needs.
And for that I say that poverty and value of money are related

  38. For me the value of money is really related to poverty. Because every year the prices of goods and the things we need goes higher. Some people with low salaries cannot buy the things they need always. Thats why there is poverty. The price is high and only rich people can buy it and the poor people cannot buy it. Money is the source of poverty to some. First the poverty will only start with few people and then they will become more and more because every year cost of the things we need goes up. Money is the top one related to poverty for me because the time now is very diffrent from the old times. We cannot live now without money because i think money is the only things that let us live nowadays. Dugangan pa gd sang corrupt ta nga government. Kawatan kpa nila. Example 1million project pra sa mga muna-muna tapos ang ipadala lang na nila sa ina nga lugar mga 500 thousand lang guru. Take note that, being thrifty is not always saving of money, but it can be also cause of poverty.

Is the value of money related to poverty? For me, they do affect each other.
Poverty is everywhere. It is in the farthest reaches of every continent and it is in the grandest cities our world has to offer. While no one has the cure for poverty, there are ways that everyone can help fight poverty both here and abroad.Poverty is a worldwide condition that will probably never be eradicated. Though we may never be able to cure poverty, we may be able to help ease the strain it causes for many people. Each time you help someone you have a direct impact on their life. And that is a powerful and beautiful thing.Poverty is not something that I think about everyday, and I am sure many of you don’t either. I am not saying that it is good or bad — that’s just how it is. There are so many things that occupy our daily lives that we don’t stop to think about things that are not immediately palpable to us.
"But like with anything, there is a low road and a high road," said Jared Bernstein, a labor economist at the EPI. "You can be profitable by squeezing your work force, offshoring and giving workers poor conditions, but it's not stable and it's time limited."

Bernstein said studies have shown that the "high road" -- which amounts to offering living wages that are usually higher than market wages, benefits and job security -- makes a more productive workforce and is as profitable as a firm run on poorly-treated, part-time labor paid so little they can't feed themselves.

"The bottom line is that it's better to run a workforce on security than insecurity," Bernstein said.

  43. Is the value of money related to poverty?

I believe that the value of money is related to poverty, since poverty refers to the means of not be able to afford the basic human needs of and individual. Basics needs of such as water, health care, clothing and shelter. Most these basic needs requires money, if we cant afford these and the value of money changes we will not be able to acquire our basic needs which will resort to poverty.

  44. yes..it is exactly relates to poverty because, if the quality of value of money is good, it is understood that people here in the Philippines or in the other country would have a good lifestyle. But then if the value is low, it results to poverty. Inequality of money is often a measure of relative poverty. Absolute poverty, however, is also a concern. The causes of poverty are numerous, including a lack of individual responsibility, bad government policy, exploitation by people and businesses with power and influence, or some combination of these, money and other factors. The value of ones currency reflects actually the economic status of a country, therefore it relates to if the country's people are suffering from poverty.

  45. i think, YES. money is very related to poverty. because for me, money makes the world go round. by defining poverty, it is the state of not having enough money to take care of basic needs such as food clothing and housing. therefore, there will be no poor people if money doesn't exist. our country belongs to the third world country. the status of our country is affected by the money that is going in and out of our country. the income of our country affects our socio economic and our social status. BUT low income is not the reason why we are poor. all we need is determination and discipline for us to be a successful one. (and promote world peace. LOL)

  47. Yes, nowadays money really matters.

What is poverty by the way? Based on my own understanding poverty is a result of summing up the poor. Poor is when people cannot buy/own what they want, insufficient of everything, and those individuals whose dreams are quite unreachable. In this case the value of money have done its part which resulted to poverty.
In the past few years, poverty is not that much as of today, because of the decreasing value of money which is just one factor that results to this really big problem.
Wages of laborers in those time is sufficient enough to provide the needs of their families. Products are affordable because money is 1:1 peso while today i think its 1peso:0.5cents or even worse as 1peso:0.25cents.
Prices are high but wages are low. Low because its value is getting low. I think its impossible for the value of money be increased as of the present situation considering the fact that we are facing global economic crisis.
Therefore, the value of money is related to poverty because, people with low income plus the low value of money will eventually suffer the cruelness of poverty.

  48. Yes!, In a way the value of money can be related to poverty, of course there are a lot of things which can be related to poverty. Poverty is a condition of having a little or less supply of goods, support, or a condition of being poor or insufficient of basic needs which definitely includes money.

Poverty is being affected by money, because everything that we need every day or almost all of our necessity, we need money to have them. If we are in the state of poverty, it would be difficult for us to meet these necessities.

Poverty is also the result of economic drought, where in technically the result of the low value of money. Economic crises and how the market can survive in this condition depends on the money itself. The more we get dumped on debts, the more we are going to suffer poverty.

  49. Definitely yes...When the money increase or decrease in value it will also move the value of economy, Economy means the money rising and lowering of money, where it is dependent in the money being used by the people in there journey everyday. As what i have said whwn the money value is low the purchasing power of that money to buy a commodity is also low, as it calss to vice versa, thats how money effects in daily living of people.

    ReplyDelete
  50. It is sefinitely related, that when the purchasing power of a money high or low it will affect on how it buy certain commodities, and the lower the money the lesser it could buy, and the higher the greater it ciuld buy...that's how it affects the poverty.

    ReplyDelete
  51. yes..the higher the value of money the lower comodities you can buy.
even you have plenty of money but its value is low then it doesnt make any difference when you have less money and the value is high.
so poor people cant feel that they are not that poor when the value of money that they have is much higher.

yes... "I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something." by the words of Jackie Mason. Money is the source of our living nowadays, and without money your life will be miserable. As we, the people who strives to earn money and live our life to our own existence, and just to survive our way of living. We are deeply and so dependently depend on the value of money in the market. As the value of money goes high, our way of living will deeply be affected. Normal commodities will not be fit in our daily budget as to day by day expenses. Our daily savings will be counted to zero and extra consumption will be inevitable. We poor will be poorer while business who is rich will be richer.

  55. Yes, the value of money is related to poverty in a coutry because it is one of the tool in development and improvement of both public and private lives in our society. It also affect the status of living in our nation by sustaining and providing every persons needs or even wants of invidual in this modern days.

It also bcause money's quality can change the economic system of our country from local to national area. By means of money's importance to person's ways of living, it can help in promoting a better life.

  56. Naturally, they are related, because the higher the value of money the lower of commodities you’ll have. So by the time of economic crisis if the prices of all commodities get higher then the value of your money will also increase, so even the poor have the bucks, they can’t still bought those high priced necessities, because the value of their money is no longer be change for goods or services, that’s why more poor becomes poorer, and in the long run, the rich one will also be poorer too.

  58. in my opinion the money is related to poverty? my answer is NO!!! because money is just the material in this world... if you have millions or billions of money, if you don't know how to use/spend/manage wisely you will end up in poverty.... be a friend to money but never be a slave... because it will ruin you if you'll end up being a slave to it.
in some people they are selfish in money, they don't help the people who are in need of money. money can only give comfortableness in life. so,money is not related to poverty in general but in some ways, its in the human person don't
rely on it its just one of the instrument..

  59. for me... yes..the capacity of people and their chances to avail basic commodities in order to sustain their daily living depend upon the value of money and its avilability to every individual... the greater the value of money the lesser the burden of poverty...the more the money can buy,, the lesser the amount needed to every individual...

  60. good evening ma'am.........sorry for the late post....... i posted on the wrong topic.

in someway you can say that money is related to poverty. its because when the products in the market are expensive, and the income of the people is low, or somehow thwey are unemployed they suffer poverty. but not only them that suffers povwerty under the season of inflation. "people make mistakes, and you are given a chance to correct them. but if you don't your the one to suffer the most in the future". the problem in money and poverty can be solved through a better state of government.

  61. In my opinion poverty cannot be recognize if there is an ample amount of sustainability of man needs and wants in his everyday living. But considering that this needs and wants of man is not all psychological or emotional needs that can be grab every where without buying.

Money runs everything.....it can buy food, cars, house and lots, dresses, and other stuff that we may either need or want.

So if the the value of a certain money decreases it means that our wants and needs decrease also. The decrease of peso value on market lead sometimes to economic crisis which results to high value of goods that the money we have cannot cannot accomodate to full the basket that we have.If this situation becomes continous it will lead to poverty.People needs will grow and the value of money will still go down, this will result to increase of price of all commodities.

As the money go down on the market.....pati gasolina apektado......it also rises due to tapal from the source, transportation and to the market.....so anu pa mahimu ka tawo nag taas na ya tanan ya peso nubo pa ya value..........so for me money and poverty is inversely proportional...if the money rise its value poverty lows down........

  62. Yes! For me the value of money is related to poverty because this two has a cause and effect cycle. Example if the value of Peso is low then the effect for those poeple who cannot afford to buy basic necessities will increse because the prices of goods will increase. But if the value of Peso is High then the Prices will go down and the status of some people who are in the state of poverty will also decrease.

Like the saying Money is the root of everything....It is very true for me because the state of poverty is based on the value of money.

How can we prevent poverty in the Philippines if the value of Peso is decreasing? Our government should give high priority on this situation.

Some of our fellow filipino's cannot afford to buy even basic ingredients needed for cooking because the prices are too high. We must act now. We have to think accurately on how to help our fellow filipino's who are facing the state of poverty. We must make a way to help them.

Relation of the Value of Money and Poverty is that when Peso is high-Prices are low, peso is low-Prices are high.

    ReplyDelete
  63. for me yes!!it is related, but not merely a cause of it.

Poverty is a state of not having enough money to take care of one's basic needs.

The most prevalent means of measuring poverty have been and continue to be those related to money. Measures such as poverty are used to measure absolute and relative poverty in terms of incomes and affordability. They are prevalent because such measurements are relatively easy to make and quantify.

However, the lack of money is more a symptom of poverty rather than its cause. In most cases, the poor are not without an income; what they lack is the ability to accumulate assets, which is a key ingredient to the creation of wealth and breaking the cycle of poverty.

ma'am,, sorry for being the last commentator...hehehe,,,gud day!!!

  64. In my opinion if you can plan where your spending will go, you’ll make better decisions with your money. It is true that spending is what keeps the economy going but it is also true that saving money increases wealth because if people don't save, there isn't enough capital to invest, but if people don't spend, then the goods that are produced can't be sold.

Personal responsibility in spending and saving money could have helped to prevent the current economic crisis or poverty. It is important to take control of your finances in a way that you must know how to control your personal habits by setting a personal financial goals. If you don't know how to spend your money wisely you will end up into poverty..

money is a medium of exchange, is a store of value, is a deffered payments. but money is related to be poor, why? because without money we cannot buy anything we want and we like.

Families can become trapped in poverty because they can't scrape together enough money or resources to get the things that would help them (or their children) create a better life. Without money they cannot buy land, tools and equipment, or send their children to school. In fact even in many places where school is free, the children must work with the parents, simply so everyone can eat. Sometimes people are so poor they must go a little hungry every day, and so eventually become too weak or sick to work at all. What's even sadder is that violence and wars make it even harder for families to work or grow food.

  66. Yes... As the times goes by, the value of money is increasing because of the increasing price of the common goods. The increased of prices is because of the lack of supply of such item which is the seller needs to increased the price to be attainable to be their profit. The things we buy in the market became expensive and the value of money become small because it can no longer sustain the needs of the people which also causes poverty.
